Description

This course gives students a throughout understanding of Macroeconomics. Students will examine economics from the perspective which apply to economic system as a whole nation. We will begin with the basic concepts and principles in macroeconomics as well as discussion on the major issues of American economy. Then topics will be focused on supply, demand and government policy, national income, price stability; government expenditure and taxation; the financial system, monetary and fiscal policies; unemployment, inflation and deflation, open economy.
Upon completion, students are expected to have a good understanding on main macroeconomic concepts and be familiarized with the application of these concepts and basic macroeconomic tools to analyze the modern economy in a whole nation.
