This course provides a brief introduction to the fundamentals of finance, emphasizing their application to a wide variety of real-world situations. Students will not only have a clear understanding about the fundamental concepts of finance but develop a detailed understanding of the practical applications of modern finance theories in the financial world. Key concepts and applications include: financial statement, cash flow, time value of money, bond and stock valuation, interest rate and inflation, capital budgeting, risk-return tradeoff, long term and short- term financial management.
