Description

Sociology is a study on human behavior in society. This course will introduce the basic concepts and principles of in the field of sociology. It aims to help students cultivate a sociological perspective when thinking and analyzing social phenomenon. Students will examine the following topics including: sociological methods, theory and scholars; science, culture, and religion; race and ethnicity; individuals in groups, socialization and education; stratification; economic and political systems. We will also introduce environmental crisis; social movements and revolutions.
