Description

This course is intended to introduce students to a variety of elementary statistical topics including Sampling, randomness, probability, distribution theory, confidence intervals, tests of hypothesis, Chi-squared test, statistical one-sample and two-sample inferences, and linear correlation and regression. Emphasis will be placed on the basic concepts, methods, and their applications. Upon completing the course, students will develop a comprehensive understanding of statistical theories and apply them to issues of the real world.
